Kevin Walter featured in Crain’s Chicago Business article, “How to Boost Profits? Enlist Your Employees”

At Tasty Catering in Elk Grove Village, Wednesday is Huddle Day.

Around noon, most of the company’s 49 full-time employees gather in the break room for lunch and a review of the previous week’s profit and loss statement. Each employee shares a number, from labor costs to office supplies. All of the figures are recorded—positive in green, negative in red—on a giant white board.
