As done for many years now, on Saturday, Nov. 19, Tasty Catering helped provide Thanksgiving meals to those in need. Thanks to 130 volunteers that prepped, cooked, and served the over 800 meals which were baked in Tasty’s ovens, many people who otherwise wouldn’t have a Thanksgiving meal this year were able to partake in a feast.
Held at Elk Grove Village’s Christus Victor Lutheran Church, this yearly event, volunteers served up turkey, salad, pie, and all the fixings to the 650 in-person attendees, while prepping another 250 to those who couldn’t attend but were able to pick up the meals outside that timeframe.
